How It Works
Share your vision!
Call or email us today to set up a consultation with our team and start dreaming big about your tiny home! If you are local to the area or able to make a day trip to Vanastra, Ontario, we invite and encourage you to join us at the shop so that you can view the homes that are currently being built. We are also happy to have a video call if that suits you better. We can show you options for tiling, windows, flooring, appliances, trim, etc. and will work with you to ensure your vision is brought to life.
Set Budget & timeline
After the consultation, we'll take all of your ideas and work with The Hive Design Co. to put together a floor plan design, price estimate and timeline. From here we'll finalize the design and you'll secure your spot with a build deposit. As soon as the customer submits their deposit, they will be placed in the queue for build time. The payment schedule is as follows: 45% down, 45% when the unit is closed in, and remaining 10% upon completion. Delivery and set-up are separate costs and will be determined during the initial consultations.
Build
Now the real fun begins as we get to work building your customized tiny home! Timelines for builds can vary as it depends on the availability of supplies. We will be in contact along the way to share updates and progress pictures and are always available by phone or email to answer any of your questions during the build stage. We want you to feel included and involved in every step of the way so you’re welcome to drop by the shop and follow along in the process.
Pickup or Delivery
The big day has finally arrived! We will work with you during the initial consultations to determine the best method of transport for your home.
